Reflections of a Graduating Student

Academics are only one part of my college experience, however. I have also been very involved in extracurricular activities while on campus. I have been honored to serve as Student Government President this past year as well as Online Editor for this newspaper. In that time, I have been a part of some of the most exciting activities one can imagine Between lobbying the state legislature to raising money for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to New York City, I have learned more about myself and my closest friends than I thought imaginable. This has been a wonderful experience.

I guess if I were to try to impart any final advice to my fellow students as I prepare to walk across the stage on May 18, it would be this: become involved and take your studies seriously. I realize those are catch phrases, but if students do that here, PNC will change them forever. The opportunities presented at PNC help students grow into exceptional leaders and discover who they really are.

I am the person I am today because of Purdue North Central. While I may be leaving PNC in a few short days, PNC will never leave me. The lessons I have learned and the friendships I have made in my time here will go forward with me fo
